When you sign in with Google or GitHub OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from the provider. We store this in our database to power your account and dashboard.

We also collect usage data such as package downloads and star ratings, which are associated with your account.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the CodeGuilds service
To display your public profile and published packages
To send transactional emails (e.g. claim invitations) — no marketing emails
To enforce our Terms of Service

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU region. We use Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure users can only access their own private data.

4. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Your theme preference (light/dark) is stored in localStorage on your device.

5. Third-Party Services

Supabase — database and authentication
Vercel — hosting and CDN
Resend — transactional email delivery
GitHub API — fetching package READMEs and metadata

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
